I don't know of any creditable newspaper that's done anything of the sort.

As for pictures, plenty of websites do it and possibly a few dumb shows on TV. But it goes both ways. Hell, this thread has an anti-Obama ad with a picture of him looking constipated.

It doesn't surprise me you people would have trouble noticing the liberal bias. However, Mish, you need to have your head examined for thinking that Republicans have more smearing ability than liberals

First off you mention several non-mainstream sources of information. Who the fucck cares? They make no difference and exist for every political opinion, although FAR and AWAY moreso for liberals. Although in regards to Swift Boat Veterans, can you blame them for getting pissed at Kerry? That douchebag got a lot of attention for throwing military medals on the White House lawn, and it turns out THEY WEREN'T EVEN HIS FUCCKING MEDALS. His were at home, and he used someone elses. What kind of sleazy cocksucker does that? Then he accused US troops of atrocities, while it was really the gooks torturing the ever loving shit out of American troops whenever they got the chance. And he was accusing Americans of doing that so it could lead to propaganda for the NVA?

The liberal bias are the subtle doings of people and groups like Tom Brokaw, the New York Times, etc. Basically, places where people go to find OBJECTIVE news, yet they are given it painted to the likings of the news goup

The paper I can most easily judge because I've had to read that bullshit so many fuccking times is Rochesters newspaper, the Democrat and Chronicle. They are so full of shit they can't help that it comes out of their mouth and onto the paper

Lastly, in my social inequality class we were given data on what professions were most likely to vote Republican or Democrat. For Republican, I knew right away it was engineers, because they can do math. Guess who it was for Republicans? Engineers! Wow, am I fuccking magic or observant? Too bad todays Republicans aren't conservative anymore though, so that will change

And guess who was most likely to vote Democrat? JOURNALISTS!!!

    Does that TELL YOU ANYTHING?

Awww thanks eco. I'd do you in the butt too

One of these days, when people grow up, they will become conservative. Not necessarily Republican or Democrat, but just more conservative. Unless they live in their tiny service sector job thinking bubble the rest of their lives

I didn't pay much interest in Kerry back then, but I found this to be curious. First, when it comes to what medals he displayed, is it the metal of it that matters or what they represent? As long as he didn't claim to have more military awards than he actually did, well, what's the problem? He still did it. You can't always tell the circumstances as to why he didnt use his own.

As for torture, sure it might be necessary sometimes, but the stance to do it to them because they do it to you takes your troops down to acting the same way as those who some people would call "cowardly raghead murderers". I don't think your troops would appreciate that association. Either you rise above such acts or you end up closer to being just like them, and should expect to be treated as such.

I don't believe this country can function prosperously on a republican conservative level unless it practices isolationism and limits imports.

However if we want to continue as a world power we will need to function on the higher national level (less state independence) and the liberalist/socialist system (big government), will have to prevail.

US shouldn't be a world power, should focus on how we can improve ourselves, not others

DM, if you any indication of what a typical Republican voter sounds like then I rest my case. I think it's quite obvious who does the smears and over uses the offensive language and who does it more moderately and objectively.

Mishanya I find that quite rude to say that one person decide whether the right wing is good or not. Not to mention the left wing has smeared the right side just as much as the right side smeared the left side.

If you can not differentiate the difference between the IQ of one person and the behavior of the whole party, then don't expect your post to have any more effect on anyone's (especially mine) opinion to change to your own slandering calling all republicans unthoughtful fools whose only way to debate is by aggressive slander.

The only difference between parties are issues and I suggest you look at those instead of looking at whose who.

Also, DM there are journalists who are conservative too whose one-sided so you shouldn't be pissy about something that's just going to happen. There's news for liberals and there's news for conservative. If you like neither, then watch a news channel with naked models doing the report. We have yet to find one, but it's bound to happen.

Personally I'd like neither to win, but I'll vote for someone. I'm just not going to mention whom I'm voting for.

Hurray for no common sense Lipp! Torture was a state sponsored practice by the NVA, whereas not only did torture almost never occur at the hands of US soldiers (although a couple massacres did) that was directly AGAINST US policy

I've already cast my absentee ballot for Obama dickhead. In fact, in the last 5 presidential elections (including this one), I would have voted Democrat 4 of the 5 times. My attacks against the liberal bias aren't being made subtle like news outlets do, I'm being straight forward and calling them out on shit

This is the problem with liberals, and dumbasses like YOU Mish are too fuccking dumb to figure this out

Hey, I didn't say it, YOU did.

Woot, I actually mistook you for talking about John Kerry and relating to recent times, never heard of the swiftboat veterans and thought the NVA was referring to some random government agency when taken out of context.

But yeah, guess that my connection between "atrocities" and "torture" would be poor then, hardly any mention is made of NVA prisoners. But still, massacres would fall into the atrocities category, no?
