Yea I figrued everyone did.. It's odd to me for everything to be called coke even if it's not but I ahve heard that before. People here call it soda as well as pop. How funny one thing has so many differnet names... lol

Insecure as they are, older Southerners here call it "soda pop." Like they can't make up their mind which to call it. Or don't want to be wrong, so call it by both. Along the lines of "purt near" ("pretty near"). As opposed to ugly near? I've always wondered.
