This idiot at work is trying to boss me around ...advice

im not complaining about the job , the job is fine , its him that pisses me off , thats all . my life is great in general , its just that , why is there always a prick who's only point in life seems to be to piss me off on purpose in work .

he's not EXACTLY an equal to me , when the boss isnt there , he takes the special "orders" of the boss , meaning , taking down special deliveries ... but he cant fire anybody and he cant take big decisions alone . when the boss is back , he pretty much loses all his "powers" and is back to being a pushy bastard even if he's not supposed to .

he's only granted the bosses "tasks" when the actual boss isnt there . sort of a temporary replacement just enought to be able to run the store properly but cant make big decisions .


anyways , i dont really let work affect the whole rest of my life usually , but that day it was just bad . everything was going wrong and work is supposed to get me away from my personal life's problems ... not add to it .

LV, your always going to have at least one person at work that you will not get along with. It's your job to understand that and just focus on your job. Yes this guy is a dick but by letting him get to you, your letting him win. Don't do that, shrug it off and just do what your job entails ( or more if your able) and do it to the best of your ability. Poeple like that who work hard despite these factors succeed in life! and it does not go un-noticed.

Yes you will have ahrd days that will totally suck, but in that time if you think of something you enjoy or you get that one customer that is just awesome, it makes your whole day ten times better.
