Daniela06, talk to him about it. I'm sorry but I don't see how people can be in relationships and still be so distant. If he's the man for you, if you love him etc. then you will be able to bring it up with him. Obviously you haven't given up on him yet, so give it a try.
If you can't even talk to him about it, then yes you should stop the relationship.
