You know I would interpret it as this: The place your at (grandma's house) would be comfortable for you...So your comfortbale where you are at with her. The spiders I would assume would to be negative things that COULD affect your relationship or insecurities you may have from past experiences even though it isn't the case now. But the fact they are attacking you and she is standing strong is saying it's within you and not her.

JUST IMO

Check this sit out.. it's not that great but it may help a little and try and remember as many details as possible such as colors of things, or types of spiders, how you felt, and so on...

Hi Rosie

Thanks for the link to that site. It looks interersting.

To see a spider in your dream, indicates that you are feeling like an outsider in some situation. Or that you may want to keep your distance and stay away from an alluring and tempting situation. The spider is also symbolic of feminine power. Alternatively, a spider may refer to a powerful force protecting you against your self-destructive behavior. If you kill a spider, it symbolizes misfortune and general bad luck.

Well, at least I didn't kill any one of those spiders I don't remember much of the details now, it's all gone hazy. Just remember that the spiders looked very menacing... And that we got through it together

but the brain can only fire what it's been fed previously – random or not.

Hmm..Interesting I have studied psychology as a major..

So your just going to rule out Freud as well I guess too?

And come on, there's no way to prove that dreams have no significance!

::sorry!::
Relax... I'll need some information first. Just the basic facts - can you show me where it hurts?

Actually Freud's work in the development of psychoanalysis is still viewed as the basis of psychotherapy

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Psychotherapy

Most psychotherapies are either direct descendants of psychoanalysis, or their founders started out in areas of psychoanalysis before developing their own theories. Therefore, when describing the history of psychotherapy, most traditionally start with Freud.

The psychology book that OV is holding must be one written by the Church of Scientology people.
