well I finally got to buy these-- or rather, I don't have a credit card so I had to wait till somebody refilled the online music account thing.

Amazing what technology can do these days. I live out in the middle of nowhere, downloading music over a wireless connection on an ibook. In theory I could put the sim card into a 3G cell phone and go online anywhere- where there is coverage, that is, which very good in Ireland. My brother might not be too happy if I pinched his phone, though (:

Unchained Melody from Ghost, right? The link didn't work for me for whatever reason, so I tried it in explorer, but that just quit itself, heh.
wow, amazing song to "mushy" dance to.

I remember the Moody Blues from a cassette we had in the car years ago. Great band, I should get some more of their stuff than just the few tracks I have now.

*envy* hehe, that's great. Sounds like a good movie too, I might rent it.

Well, thank you for taking the time to post, I really appreciate it and I loved the songs. So much music in the world, and yet I really only get to listen to the part of it that comes into my attention. I've found that the music I listen to is largely music recommended by people I know. So maybe I should recommend back; "Wondering where the lions are" (you probably know it already though) and in general the band VAST, it is kind of 'hard-core/angsty', though he does have some more 'soft' sounding songs like 'Having part of you', 'Where it Never Rains' and 'Flames' which I mentioned before. I could go on and on, heh

Tiay, I'm glad you're back.

I've never listened to VAST. I'll give it a try. I'm listening to this song a lot:

http://www.robdickinson.com/ (Click link on page for My Name is Love). There's a song on the same release called Oceans, which is a great love song.

I love Jeff Buckley's cover of Hallelujah on the Grace release.

For some reason, Bruce Cockburn works my very last nerve. I generally like indie-rock, but not him.

Have you listened to any Augustana? Ryan Adams?

yeah, I have a few songs from Grace. Eternal Life also good, though not a love song.

For some reason, Bruce Cockburn works my very last nerve.
maybe it's his surname?

Have you listened to any Augustana? Ryan Adams?
I hadn't heard of Augustana, I like Ryan Adams though

Texas Angel--Honeybrowne
Leaving October--Sons of the Desert.

Yes, they're sad. Very sad. But, they're the ONLY two country songs I'll ever listen to. They're that good. ESPECIALLY Texas Angel.
