It seriously still bothers me right after I wake up, especially if I rub my eyes at all.

And not just like a slight stinging, I'm talkin' like, can't open my left eye, tears running bad.

Goes away in about 10 minutes or so.

    NASTY!!

Yeah, I agree with vashti, if you haven't gone already I seriously recommend going to the doctor. If you cut your eye like theres a definate chance it could get infected.. and well... that would not be good.

That's just it, this happened about...3 months ago?

Any infection would've already occurred by now.

Ok, sorry didn't realise it happened so long ago, obviously I wasn't awake last night. Doh! Stayed up til like 2am last night so was probably totally zonked when I answered this thread. I appologise.

But anyway, if you're still having probles with it I still reccommend going to see the doctor. When you have a cut on your eye like that, seems the chances are it won't heal so easily becasue your blinking almost constantly.
Maybe theres some kind of eye lotion or eye drops you can get to help it heal? Maybe... I don't know, I'm not an eye doctor, but seems like if it doens't heal then there's still a chance it could get infected, and even if it doesn't why put up with the pain every time you wake up for months on end?

Did you ever see a physician?
Relax... I'll need some information first. Just the basic facts - can you show me where it hurts?

You may have corneal damage. I wouldn't wait. If your eye was properly healed, I can't imagine why you'd still have pain.

Yesterday I had something on my nose, and instead of touching my nose and getting the thing off, i poked my eye really hard by accident...

I once shot a GI Joe missile into my friend's eye when we were kids and he cried.

    Good times.

I'm an optometric assistant Fras.....eyes are what I do.

Even if this occurred awhile back, I strongly recommend an eye check by an optometrist.......if the cut was deep enough, it could cause permanent scarring on your cornea.

Well, a little corneal opacity is not a big deal, its more annoying than anything. You probably wouldn't even see it.

Just.....yeah. I don't know, it's your EYE Fras. One of those parts of your body you'd be kinda pissed about losing or having damaged, ya know?
