agreed. they're always super sweet. THIS is what you need advice on. SWEETER things to say to your girlfriend. neither of you are DOING anything wrong. this is the big deal in your relationship. y'all are moving closer together and you need something sweeter to say to eachother.

You could also tell her you adore her. I like that one.

And I've even used the "I adore you" thing too. She rolls her eyes at the one, but my sincerity still seems to get across to her.

I love it when I go to kiss her, and then pause and tease her lips, she gets all flustered because she knows I'm trying to lure her into coming the final yard.

Insatiable.

The look upon her face the first time I ever uttered the words from my mouth.

She'll squirm, and try to pull away, refusing to give in to what I want.

What she wants.

She'll put on the confident smile of hers, locking her lips shut...

Conventional poetry sucks. What you write comes from the heart. It isn't forced. It doesn't follow predetermined guidelines.
