They generally do not test for asymptomatic STDs, meaning if she doesn't show symptoms, they won't test for everything. For example, herpes and genital warts (HPV) are only diagnosed in the presence of symptoms, but a person could be infected (and contageous) even when they don't have symptoms. Full testing would require blood testing in addition to pap smears, etc. and even a biopsy in the case of genital warts (HPV).

I suggest you tell your physician exactly what she said, and from now on, always wear a condom unless you want to make a baby.

The reason she didn't tell you is because she didn't want you to not want to see her anymore.

I understand why you are disgusted, but really - she could have easily contracted something even if she had only slept with a couple of guys. They estimate that at least 25% of the college-aged, sexually active population carries an STD. You might very well have been infected with something before you even slept with her.
