I Hate Alcohol

That's precisely one of the reasons why I dislike alcohol. The idea that a person really isn't themselves at all. False confidence.

I hate people will raise an eyebrow to my silly antics when I'm sober, as if I'm "immature", when they'd be doin' the same shit, if not more, were they drunk.

this is why i do not like to get drunk. i am with you on that frasbee.

I don't think getting drunk is any excuse for acting like an ass.

I like drinking, though. I usually drink wine, occasionally beer, and rarely vodka or bourbon.

I love having sex when I've been drinking hard liquor. It makes me feel naughty.

I've been very drunk once. It was kinda fun. Not something I'd repeat more than once a year or so, just because it's not healthy.

That study that said that drinking moderately is healthy was flawed; they compared people who drink moderately with people who don't drink at all, and found that those who don't drink at all were actually less healthy than the moderate drinkers. They forgot to ask WHY it is that they didn't drink at all. Can you guess why someone would be a strict non-drinker? yup, 'cos they were extremely alcoholic before that!

On one of those morning news shows they claimed orange juice might be linked to cancer.

That's when I gave up on caring.

Extreme/prolonged stress does lead to unwell-ness, though.

yes, i've heard stuff about taking showers causing cancer. silly. however, alcohol damages your organs. a lot of them, actually. that's not some kinda doubtworthy disputed silly claim about causing cancer. alcohol. damages. your. body.

I would have to concur on the effects of alcohol reducing inhibitions, IE putting you in the "social zone"; but I wholeheartedly disagree with anyone who uses "I was drunk" as an excuse for making bad decision. (has anyone else ever been cheated on under similar circumstances?)

there was a case on the news in ireland a while back about a guy who had sex with a girl, and then she claimed she was drunk and that it was rape. not sure what happened with that one, though..

friz... stress is actually good for me. i think i have a high tolerance to stress and i like those sort of fast paced jobs that keep you busy. time restrictions and dead lines are more like a challenge rather than a problem.
