I've noticed that the US seems like a very stereotypical nation. Our social 'castes' here in Aust are not so segregated and defined.
The 'hot' girls are not defined as tanned, long-legged blondes (although yes we do have them but not that significantly), we don't have jocks, we don't have 'nice guys' (generally) who are intimidated by the said hot girls, and we don't seem to have a number of the social issues that are mentioned here. I find that very very interesting
