1. [bullshit, not bullshit] Your SO thinks it's okay to drink out of another person's cup, and finds it ridiculous that you're jealous/angry.
So she drinks out of some dude's cup? Big whoop.
2. [bullshit, not bullshit] Your SO buys you something to drink, and then later takes a sip out of it because they're thirsty.
What's wrong with sharing?
3. [bullshit, not bullshit] Your SO thinks it's stupid that it makes you jealous when you drive by the college football players /cheerleaders practicing and they goes "ooo football players/cheerleaders"
Nothin' wrong with looking. For that matter, nothing wrong with touching. But that's debatable.
4. [bullshit, not bullshit] Your SO asks you who you're texting when you whip out the cell phone in the middle of a date and start texting away, and you say "nobody", and
then they become upset.
Pulling your cell out during a date is downright insulting. It should be off and forgotten until you've escorted her to her (or better yet, your) door. I don't blame her for feeling jealous and upset. Apparently you're more interested in sending smilies to your friends than you are sharing her company.
5. [bullshit, not bullshit] Your SO feels like you're trying to control them because a lot of things they do make you jealous and you've asked them to quit or break up.[/quote]
Lilwing, if these are the things that make you jealous then I I have to say it isn't bullshit that it annoys her. Leaving an ultimatum like that is not cool. If you can't deal with a girl the way she is, find a girl who conforms to your standards. Don't threaten. Do. Threats are for cowards.
God, so atrocious in the Old Testament, so attractive in the New--the Jekyl and Hyde of sacred romance.
-Mark Twain
If people are good only because they fear punishment and hope for reward, then we are a sorry lot indeed.
