    I don't think that's all entirely true.

    The notion that a male can physically abuse his significant other without causing her emotional strife is so false. Physical abuse will lead a person to become timid, insecure, scared, and maybe even protective of her SO's better moods.

    Mental by far. Trust me. A woman can turn that physical damage that a man has on himself.

    Obviously, getting hit doesn't feel good emotionally either. Though we are talking about I think the original tactic used to achieve pain for the other. I think in either case it is pathetic, I mean essentially what these people are trying to do is cause pain to someone else.

    You're right Frasbee, but physical abuse against women (despite more frequent than against men) is not very common. On the other hand, many women are manipulative and fond of "testing their SO" by nature.

    You know? Maybe we're just stereotyping here. The truth is that any abusive party quickly turns from a S.O. to a S.O.B. and you do know what I mean.
