    Period.

Anybody who believes otherwise has not been in a relationship long enough.

Now thank my post because you know I'm right.
Agrees... saying love is unconditional isn't accurate... Many things can dissolve a loving relationship... and love works on the 'condition' that both give and take equally... It's a wonderful balancing act that is both powerful and delicate...

Love is feeling for him/her above anyone else, maybe not family (depends). But when you see other people better looking, you still prefer to stay with the one you are with.

I guess that answers both questions for me.

Love is when you look at the person your with afters year and years of being together and you still get a rush. Love is when you are not disgusted by that person. I mean I get squeamish over vomit, etc. But if its him I dont care what it is. I'll do whatever I have to do.

Longterm love is the bond that forms when two ppl are committed to assisting each other on their life's 'paths to growth'.

I can expand on this, but I've written entire essays about this before. Search for it.

Love is your heart finding its rythm with another person. I am lucky to have found mine.

Its good to know that so many ppl still believe that mature love is about THEM.

Love is the desire to spend your life with someone or something.

Hmmm. So, IndiReloaded, you seem to be taking what people say about Love and adding a jab to it.. Any particular reason why?

B/c I think many of the posts about this subject are shallow & poorly thought out. I'd like to see ppl actually *think* about it more deeply. I believe that if ppl did this, BEFORE they got into a serious relationship, that it would prevent a lot of the problems we see posted on this site.

Ok. And I agree to a point.. but I don't actually see that you started this thread, and I don't actually see the person starting this thread looking for what you just described. I see the responses so far in this thread to be of a very general topic and that seems alright with most other people.

How about you start a thread that explains what you would like to see the post be and I'll gladly post some very deep, commited, and intuitive thoughts in there..

Its been done already. And I already posted the Coles Notes on what I thought. And I've been around this site waaay longer than my post count shows, so I'm not shy about putting my thoughts where ever I think it will help.

As for what I would like the post to be, lol, this is YOUR intellectual exercise, babe, not mine. I'm just pointing out that what I've seen so far is shallow, IMO. If I see something I like, I'll 'thank' it, k?

Ha, if only. Sometimes I think that quote was created by soap opera sponsors, just to confuse their viewers & keep them watching for even more 'helpful tips'.

Wow.. I am sorry.. I meant nothing to be offensive.. I was just saying it seemed to me that you were a little harsh on each persons post..

I'll go and look now for your thread. I bet you have some great insights and I look forward to seeing if we share some of those thoughts..
