Holy cow, how much music you want on there? I have an 8 gig and its only half full ..I have 40+ gigs of music on my HD but I only put my favorites on there.

Transfer your music to a smaller file type. MP3 files are pretty small, but the quality drops too.

Like you, I can only hold about 1500 on my ipod, but that's because I like my music to sound good, so they take up a shit load more space.
