Well all the plants and trees are squirting their sperm into the air.
My car is coated with the stuff by morning.

I have eczema too, though nothing visible at the moment.
I'm allergic to the metal nickel, belt buckles, glass frames, watches, you name it. Got a rash below my belly button from it but it's subsided now.
Taking Triamcinolone Acetonide for it.
My "excema" (a vague diagnosis) is strongly linked to certain dietry allergens. Eating wheat, tomatoes, eggs and some other things all cause a dramatic worsening in it's condition within 12 hours or so.
It's not the only factor, and it's only in the last two years that it has become linked to those foods.
Have you explored dietry connections, OP?
No idea.
There's so many possible factors, that it would be extremely difficult to zero in on what it is by myself.
One thing I know for sure. I don't have it during the winter time, and I don't change my eating habits between the seasons.
Maybe it's temperature related.
Maybe it's pollen or mold related.
Maybe it's insect related.
It's not getting any better, that's for sure.
I thought it was VitB that made one's urine orange? Vit C just messes with clin chem tests, the acid as I remember. Still, I'm many years out of Clin Chem. OV works in this area, and Vash may also know.
Anyway, I take VitC and my pee is perhaps a bit more yellow, but thats it. FWIW.
Fras, I drank this stinging nettle tea last year & it seemed to help my new-found allergies. May work for eczema also, dunno.

Hi Dig, things have been fine. Travelling again. Am taking your advice on things, btw. Seems to help.

I think both Vitamins B & C can do it, but I don't know how much of it you need to take in order to have a color change. It must be a lot, because I've never seen it except with prescription meds like coumadin.
Frasbee - I would bet your eczema is due to an environmental allergen. My kid is allergic to a million things, and once we had him tested and started treating the allergies, his eczema is decreasing in severity.
I self diagnosed myself, but this is the only type that fits my description: Dyshidrosis
There's pictures on-line, but they're a lot more severe than what I have. I've found these teeny little blisters that are more often than not, deep under the skin and the tops of my fingers and knuckles and small bit on the top of my right foot. In most cases you'd have to take a closer look to see that I have it.
I know I shouldn't pop the blisters because it takes them longer to heal, and I risk secondary infection, but sometimes I can't help myself. I've been taking some kind of ointment my roommate used because he has eczema too, just not the kind I have. It's been keeping the itch down.
Usually, if I don't pay any attention to it I don't even know it's there, so it hasn't affected my work life (which requires a lot of dexterity). But once I start poking or scratching it, or maybe rubbing up on something, it'll flare up.
I've had a long history of itchy illnesses.
I hope I don't die this way.
You should see a dermatologist to get an official diagnosis and suggestions for a course of treatment. Your eczema may very well increase in severity over time.
don't go to a doctor unless you try some over the counter allergy medicine. take Claritin or Bendadryl for a week and then tell us if that helped.

I am a big fan of Elidel cream but it's so freaking expensive.
