I need to go to the Turkish market more often. I got the rest of my week's food for around 3€. I could easily get a week's worth of veggies for 5€ or 6€.

I also bought some spaghetti cheese. Anyone ever tried it? It's kind of gross.

buyin in bulk: you can also buy like movie passes in bulk and they get cheaper..or just buy the passes which will be sold to you at the cheaper rate and after about a week or two of a new movie, you can just use it and you'll have effectively paid matinee price for a prime time showing.

yeah buying in bulk is good.

that has definitely saved me a lot. i bought this enormous bag of whole wheat pasta and it's been almost two months and i have about 2 years worth left.

all those people who go to those health food/ organic food stores. now that shit is crazy.
baby ya hustle. but me i hustle harder.

I heard from a friend of mine who started buying organic that he was becoming less sick and feeling more energetic compared to regular veggies, but my sequence of what groceries I can buy will follow my paygrade, organic food is on the top of the list when the increased price won't bother me much.

yeah, organic pays for itself with the reduction of having to buy medicines. Oh yeah, that's another one..don't go to the doctor..heal yourself! Garlic is a natural antibiotic. OJ and Chicken soup cures all. And drink plenty of liquids! It'll keep you healthier longer too.

Psychological, IMO... The people who are sick aren't eating ANY fruits and veggies... they are too busy standing in line at McDonalds.

Yeah, could be, as I have no intention of jumping into that for quite a while I can't be bothered to dive into the myriad of pro and anti opinions on it. I don't mind GM foods, I think its great, its just the pesticides that worry me a lil bit if it takes place along the lines of toxic bio-magnification.

Unless you are growing it yourself, I tend to think of the whole organic movement as a scam.

Even if the article is somewhat biased (and I have no idea whether or not it is), I am pretty sure it isn't all wrong. Also, people are living longer now than they ever did before (when everything was organic) which tells me we've made progress.
