They had tv's and fashion and doritos and nightclubs in Afghanistan before the Taliban, it's not like they don't know what it is (well, maybe the younger generation). We leave and parachute them that stuff, the Taliban will just take over again and make all that stuff forbidden again. Vicious cycle.

That's true. Its amazing how backwards things got so quickly. A warning to the rest of us. Makes me think of Atwoods 'Handmaid's Tale'.
