He thinks its the pillows too. I talked to him not too long ago.
It takes him so long to get comfortable :/
I feel so bad for him!

So do you think this type of pillow will help him?

I've never used a super-foam pillow, so I can't tell you much about that, but the pillows I found that help me measure 18"X36"-- large enough to support my shoulders (above arm-pit level), neck, and head. That's a size that's sometimes hard to find, I know, but it's worth looking for. (I notice that the pillows in your ad are 15"X24"-- not enough for me.)
    When in trouble,
    Or in doubt,
    Run in circles,
    Scream and shout.

I can't believe no one has yet stated the obvious: are you sure YOU aren't the pain in his neck?

    JUST KIDDING!

Have him get fitted for an orthopedic pillow. Everyone should use them. Even people who aren't muscular get pain.

CocoChanel, does he sleep on his side? B/c the neck-shoulder pain you describe is common in muscular guys. The wider your shoulders become, the greater the distance between your head and the pillow which creates a lot of neck torsion. Now imagine laying like this all night. I had to abandon sleeping on my side to make the pain go away. If you're looking for comfort, then check out latex foam pillows for the best quality sleep experience. Once you try latex, you never go back.

Yeah I get some neck pain but it's because I'm crazy buff. It's the price you have to pay to be hot, so tell him to man up.

Is it uncomfortable for you to sleep at night? My baby has a rough time getting comfortable and gets those muscles pains in his neck to shoulder area.

I'm guessing it may be pillow issue? Help me out here! He gave me money to go shopping for him but I have no idea where to start. He is tall and muscular so that is why I am asking you guys!

Your baby's muscles were probably grown too fast, so his body didn't prepare well enough to be comfortable with the bulk yet, or he isn't working out properly.

And you sound like a douche. What kind of questions are these? He sounds like a roid user.

Yes he does sleep on his side a lot! Should he start sleeping on his back?

well i'm going to guess and this is due to getting back into working out after taking a long break. being that he already is fit and has been to the gym, then he should know that it will only last for a couple of days.

unless he's pulled a muscle, all other types of overuse injuries are temporary.

That's the thing... the pain isn't from working out.
He is pretty much used to that, he's been working out for so long LOL!
It's from the way he sleeps. He has trouble getting comfortable... period.
I bought some new pillows for him to better support his weight and muscles.
I bought new bedding and such. Hopefully this will help him get a better rest.

I like being thin. I'm ok cut. I don't need anymore. Would suck to have pains though from being to muscular.

I don't get it either. That's why I don't work out any longer than I have to! Haha
But after reading about all the discipline the guys go through to get that way...
I changed my views about it. I say Kudos to you guys who have achieved it!

We muscular men get neck and back aches because we need more sensual massages from our girlfriends.

Only a pussy would truly bitch about his neck or back aches because they 'hurt'. We just want a rub a dub dub

he should start sleeping on his back if he wants to make the pain go away. However, if he insists on being a side sleeper, then make sure there's enough pillow between his head and the bed. I highly recommend latex foam pillows b/c of the support they offer and how comfortable they are.
