I don't know. If I've learned anything in life its that trash comes in every color, rich/poor/black/white/tan/whatever...its not discrimatory. That being said, good people come from all walks of life too.
OP-maybe the girls are ignorant or shy too. Not all white girls are that way. Every girl has their own definition of attractive.

In answer to your question, yes I think Sayid is very hot.
I personally am attracted to dark guys, but I don't really exclude anyone based on race/looks. However, I would be hesitant to date someone who was very "traditional" and from a totally different cultural background. If they were not very accustomed to Western culture, or had very different values I would be concerned that we would just be too different and not have enough similar life experiences to really bond. That said though, if someone was Asian, Mid-eastern racially but had grown up in a Western country it wouldn't make a difference to me.

Mmmm... well, I for one LOVE middle eastern and asian guys!
I love their dark, handsome, mysterious looks! In my time I have dated a gorgeaus half Iranian-half french guy, who was HOT. I also had a holiday romance with a super-hot Sikh Canadian-Punjabi Policeman, damn he was fine. Did I mention he was hot.
Some people say there is a repuatation for asian men mistreating women, but I think its no more or no less than any other culture, you get good eggs and bad eggs - I just choose to avoid the bad eggs!!!
But at the end of the day I don't judge a man by his colour, its whats in his heart that counts!!!
