I used to believe in astrology so much. Read that crap daily. Then I saw a episode of Penn and Teller's BS on astrology. Showed astrology for what it was........which is pretty much nothing. Like when a palm reader tells you, " I see hurt and pain in your future"......duh, that could apply to freaking anybody! Don't get your hopes up too much when it comes to this stuff. I'm a Libra, and yeah a lot of the Libra descriptions do indeed "fit" me. At the same time, other descriptions fit me as well, so wtf, lol.

The building you work or live in has more gravitational effect on your body than some distant planet. People who claim this stuff is true with 'science' typically know very little actual science.

Astrology says my husband & I are 'soulmates'. One of the best fits of the zodiac, haha. FWIW.

Blackey, I will arm wrestle you about physics any time. I'm certain I can calculate the gravity pull between two objects, can you?

Rather than my calculating the effect for you, here's a table of the our solar system's gravity relative to the moon. Its negligible, gravity is a combination of mass and distance. In the case of effects from our solar system planets, the distance waaay outweighs the large masses involved. Astrology is entertainment, not science:

    Planet Mass(10^22 kg) Distance Gravity

    Mercury 33 92 0.00008 0.0000003
    Venus 490 42 0.006 0.00005
    Mars 64 80 0.0002 0.000001
    Jupiter 200,000 630 0.01 0.000006
    Saturn 57,000 1280 0.0007 0.0000002
    Uranus 8,700 2720 0.00002 0.000000003
    Neptune 10,000 4354 0.00001 0.000000001
    Pluto ~1 5764 0.0000000006 0.00000000000004
    Moon 7.4 0.384 1.0 1.0

Yep. I'd think about property for my g-g-g-g-g-g-g-g-g-g...great grandkids. Provided they figured how to heat the sucker out there. Miso, did you read they killed the Moon Return project today? Constellation is dead.

yeah but eh, the moon is old news already.

we need to hit up something outside our solar system. it's time for some warp travel, i think.

indi, i don't think we're astrologically matched. we just don't share the same ideals about what constitutes a planet or space travel.

Well, as I understand about 80 bucks will get you a decent amount of space travel to different planets. There's always that if we get desperate.
