Wouldn't make no difference in my case. She went into meltdown when her dog got cancer, turning back the clock wouldn't change that.

I couldn't have been any more supportive than I was, she just couldn't cope.

If I knew what was going to happen and became over protective knowing this wasgoing to cause us to break up, she'd have dumped me anyway for being needy and insecure.

I didnt do anything wrong.. my ex is a psycho... Waiting till wednesday is so hard. Ill add more so incognito doesnt get his panties in a bunch. A time machine wouldnt work because she would still have the same issues, and me being me would still go out with her. Even If i didn't I will find some other psycho is date.. its a never ending chain and Im on the end...

This. I was young and foolish, I chose poorly. But if an older me had come along and told me to run, I would have just chosen someone else poorly. I needed to grow up to find a mature love, might as well have done it in that marriage rather than some other one. And I have these 2 awesome, adorable, brilliant and loving souvenirs from the trip.

Ha, whatever. You posted half sentences that seemingly had nothing to do with the thread. Sorry if I offended you but if you haven't noticed there have been an awful lot of real trolls here lately. Posting nonspecific half sentences is just as bad as typing 'ajhqmenb, wmqkjd wkjdkjnlkmlwae' as a response.

What is the problem? Did you already post a thread about it?

Stop right there. Don't start hypothesizing what *could* happen in your next relationship. Alot of things *could* happen that we don't need to think about: unknowingly eating monkey wieners, watching porn while you've accidentally dialed your mother, lots of things. The only thing that worry will do is put doubt in your mind, and not allow you to enjoy living in the present or being with your next partner.

Rather than assuming what was going on in her head (which I know is easy to do when you're dying for an answer), don't go down that road. If you start believing that all of her problems stemmed from what was going on in her "subconscious", when she started finding your flaws, you will always be wondering if that is happening in future relationships. The thing is, she wasn't slowly overtaken by this invisible monster that would turn her against you. She knew it wasn't working out -- the two of you just weren't meant to be.

The best thing you can do is to learn from this and not let the past control your future. Whoa, that sounded like a line from Star Wars.

    Good luck my friend.

i would go back to before my first time locked up and get my drinking, druggin, and anger under control. that would have saved me a lot of money and heartache. shit if i could go back to whenever then i would focus on my motocross career instead of partying and go pro. then i probably wouldnt have had the aforementioned problems.
I got loaded last night on a bottle of gin
And I had a fight with my redneck girlfriend
But when I'm drinkin' I am nobody's friend
Please baby wait for me until they let me out again

If I had a time machine I would see my wife in her past life in Egypt. Oh yes, that would be nice.
