OK I just went shopping with her and I made no moves at all, not even trying to hold her hand, which her friend was encouraging me to do.

The prom is in 4 days and I will not hesitate with my actions. Her friends suggest that I should just forget her boyfriend exists on the night and just do whatever since I will have their support. Any tips on what I should do?

HELP! OK this is not going well. Apparently she told her boyfriend about everything BUT he doesn't get it and thinks I'm trying to 'ask her out'. I have made no moves whatsoever and so far, I have just been a friend that has comforted her in hard times. They are on the verge of breaking up, if not already, as their relationship status are both single on FB and him and his friends are sending me hate mail. Of course I just laugh at the mails and ignore them. However what worries me is that the girl I like, feels really guilty. To both sides. She keeps mentioning that, she doesn't want to lose me as a friend, and that she is really lucky to have me as a friend, and that she will clear my name.

What does this mean? What should I do?
