A lot of american men think that a woman is a slut if a girl sleeps with them quickly or is open about her sexuality. He'll still sleep with her but he'll lose respect for her. I think a lot of women have become distrustful because of this.

Agreed. I hate more than anything the feeling of being intimate with someone and then feeling like they've just thrown you away. It's awful. I've only felt that way once and we didn't even actually have sex! Just some very intense fondling and making out. He fed me all kinds of lies and in the end he was already dating some other chick. I can only imagine how much worse I would have felt if we had actually had sex.

I've also watched the majority of my male family members have sex with tons of girls that they don't respect, only to marry the nice, good girl who hasn't been used like the town bicycle. I decided at a young age that I wanted to be the girl that people respected, not the girl that guys lied to, used, and tossed away.

I know not all guys judge a woman for how many partners she's had, but A LOT do. And some will judge you, lie to you about how they feel about you, sleep with you anyway, and then peace out. That sh*t would drive me crazy.

I know that the people from the US of A on this forum are not representitive of all people from the US of A. BUT am I the only one who feels that our friends from across the ocean are a bit repressed? Sexually? Examples of 'I'm 20, he's 21, we're not making out (aka having sex)' seem a bit strange in this day and age, or, 'we've been on 20 million dates and we haven't holded hands'.
OK I exaggerate a bit but you get my idea. I'm an old fart, 46 years old but for me 2 or 3 dates and it we're not in bed then it's not gonna work.

I see stories in the forums where they aren't holding hands by 10th date also and they ask if it's ok to kiss and on a first date. Wait. In bed by the third date? That's a little too soon, even for me. By the third date you're JUST getting to know that person, and feel comfortable around them. Sex for me, is around the 5th or 6th date. That's about when I feel really comfortable.
