in a museum in japan i got to try cactus ice cream. somethinng that you probably won't think to eat when you think of ice cream flavors. however because of the natural high water content the cactus, it's actually very good.

I saw rocky mountain oysters mentioned a few times a while back treating it like the nastiest thing in the world. I, for one, have had them and I dug them. It's like Illusional said, once its fried you can't tell the difference. They tasted just like anything else that's fried.
Heit ist mein taug.
grab some tartar sauce and basically that's all you taste.

hmmmmmm anyone heard of coca cola chicken and ice cream bread?
or am i the one here outdated?
I believe that most of those weird foods that are delicacies like snails, for instance...it's not so much the snail that you taste as all the stuff they marinate and spice it up with. Has the chef, Jane, posted here? She needs to.

oh i forget where in the world this was, maybe in like britain or some far away place. well it's a delicacy to eat cheese.. but the catch is the cheese has been aged for a few weeks. aged to much that it has worms inside of it, and these worms cause the cheese to be a delicacy. maybe it was a type of bread..but still that is sick.

never heard of anything like that so I don't think it's Britain - we do have mouldy cheese though!
it might not have been from britain. i'm not sure where it was from, but i was watching it on the food network.

Dad had a friend who did some trading in the Black Sea area and he would bring like pounds of black caviar as presents! (Rough estimate of approxiamately 500-600$ worth of caviar.)
I have it all. Including kino.

No you're ignorant because you think caviar a "weird thing to eat". It's not weird at all.
