Fast food makes me sick because I eat so healthy......I was down in the states recently and everything was served with oinion rings....I couldn't find a nutritional meal anywhere. I was so glad to get back to Canada to have my sushi!

All this advice won't really lead to anything. 193 at 5'6" for a girl is big, sorry to say. I am 5'7" male and was over 210 at one point and I couldn't even look in the mirror. I've lost 70 lbs and am a marathon runner now.
Want to know how I did it? Diet, Exercise, and WILL POWER. Instead of worrying about gaining weight and getting fatter because of your birth control, take control of your life, put that pizza and bag of chips that is likely on your computer desk as you read this into the trashcan, and actually MAKE IT HAPPEN.
All birth control does is with some people it can make you feel more hungry, eat more and so gain weight. If you have self control you can stop this happening. The drug itself doesnt cause weight gain.
I also agree that 193lbs for a woman at 5'6 is big. Your bmi makes you obese. Im just over 5'6 and weigh 150lbs at the moment and this is me at my heaviest ever. I wouldnt allow myself to get any heavier though mainly for health reasons.
Anyway, losing weight is actually quite simple. Consume less calories than you burn off. It is as simple as that for most people.
Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away.
awesome thread title, something strangely funny about it
I changed to pills that aren't suppose to have this "gaining weight" side effect ! Yay I hope it will work!!Cause I also am phat but I feel fat obviously :/
I wazzzz here![]()
Wow! I'm sorry, but now that I have done the conversion, I would seriously recommend getting onto weight watchers NOW. Your health is at serious risk. Both my of my mums parents were obese and died in their 50's. My mum was on her way to obese when Nan died (Pop went first) Mum was 36. I was suddenly petrified I only had less than 2 decades of my mum being around. Her asthma was really bad, her cholesterol levels were up and her heart was weakening. It's now 12 years later and my mum has maintained a healthy weight for 7 of those years. It was a battle for her to get it off but now she's kept it off.
Another scary story, my step-mum hassled everyone in the family to get our cholesterol checked recently. Her godson had cholesterol problems, but because he was other wise fit and healthy and was playing soccer at a state level they didn't worry about it. He died one morning in the changing rooms before a game. He had a massive heart attack. He was only 19.
