Lol, I visited the military academy in the town just last year, that means i might be like 800 meters from bin laden at the time

I think it's quite funny that ppl thought it was so effed up when the middle eastern folks rejoiced in the tragedy of the twin towers yet here in the US we are celebrating bin laden's death, hypocrisy?
I wouldn't say we are any safer, i bet they will retaliate, not now but later. Besides i can't imagine how much involvement bin laden has had when the area he was caught in had absolutely no internet or phone connection.

You can poke at it with a stick all you want.....it's just a relief to many. You forgot that it sends a message out there that the Americans are relentless......they always get their man.
BTW no phone, no Internet because it is traceable.
Maybe it's good that they killed him,but they could aim at his chest or knees or something and let him bleed out . Shot in the head makes it finished too quick. And I also think that it's better that he's killed ,cause if they would catch him alive, close in prison and so, he would end up living there like a "prince" till he would die from heart arrest or something. Like it was with Slobodan Milosevic , instead of sentence him to 20 years of tortures for being a tyrant , they have let him live in a single cell in a prison in Haag ,where he lived like this :
and in the end he died of heart attack or something and never took the responsibility for what he have done.
Or like Josef Fritzl, if you know what I mean...
I'm not for death sentences, but monsters should spend the rest of their lifes working 20h a day and eating water and bread.
I wazzzz here![]()
Has it occurred that he may well have put up a fight? When faced with a threat to life they shoot to kill, end of. I can understand people being relieved that he is dead, and for some/many it may feel like justice has finally been done.
I am pleased that he is no longer, but I wont celebrate the fact he is dead, there are many more carrying on his fight, it has never been about just one person.
Martin Luther King JnrI mourn the death of thousands of precious lives, but I will not rejoice in the death of one, not even an enemy. Returning hate for hate multiplies hate, adding deeper darkness to a night already devoid of stars. Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that.
Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away.

imo, i think that this is a common misconception because... were we any safer when there was a bin laden to plan such events as 9 11?? unfortunately we stuck our noses in a war, and whether we like it or not, someone will always start/retaliate against us. we were never safe to begin with.

I think this will make Obama's re-election next year a bit easier (Republicans will have a harder time painting him as an evil terrorist) and take some air out of that Donald Tramp fellow. Or was it Donald Duck Hump? Donald Slump? Donald Bum? I can't remember.
Don't cry, don't regret and don't blame
Weak find the whip, willing find freedom
Towards the sun, carry your name
In warm hands you are given
Ask the wind for the way
Uncertainty's gone, your path will unravel
Accept all as it is and do not blame
God or the Devil

I don't think some of you realize: this was never about stopping terrorism. This was solely for revenge. No one in their right mind thinks terrorism will end now.
Relax... I'll need some information first. Just the basic facts - can you show me where it hurts?
