LOL, I was just thinking how it would read if I replaced cat with husband/wife....

Husbands/Wives are the perfect pet. They come and sit with you when you're sad or upset, they leave you alone when you're not, except if they're hungry ... they're warm and small and feel good under your hands, and you can leave them for a week with a big bowl of food and a clean litter box, and they'll forgive you shortly after you get home...
Second thoughts can generally be amended with judicious action; injudicious actions can seldom be recovered with second thoughts.

    I figured that, LOL.

I think my wife'd be mad if I left her for a week with a big bowl of food and a clean litterbox, though.

I think my puss cat is mentally defective. He whines for no reason. He also likes to whine just to tell me he has used his kitty litter tray. He won't eat raw chicken wings.. well any raw meat for that matter. He won't get off your lap until he falls off because you are standing. Oh and he has a bad habit of trying to get lap when you're about to stand.

    He's a weird boy.

I always just assume that the weird whines are attempts to communicate... and I assign funny meanings, and answer them:

"Yes, I will step on your head. Put it on the floor and I'll take care of it."

"I know, but I can't help your brain damage. You'll have to live with it."

"I know baby, mommy and daddy ARE at it again. We're not having kittens, though."

    Okay, so jealous right now.

I've been trying to negotiate a kitten into this house for four years now, so far no luck.

    Awww...HIA...the kittens are too cute!!

My guy & I have 3 cats. We saved them all in 1 form or another. Love them to bits & spoil the hell out of them too.

I love all their quirks too...they are each so different. Sometimes I like watching them play around more than TV.
