and NO, liking and loving are not totally different from eachother. love is just a more passionate word for like, but liking is just a measure of love.

    Thanks. Good advice
YES, that's what I'm concerned about! distance relationships. I can't see how it would ever work.
I mean..should I atleast give it a try or just forget about her?
..and finding someone else? Can you do that when you know that you like someone else? wouldn't you like always be thinking of her? hehe.

I guess she could be different in person than on other modes of communication.. but it kinda changes from person to person. Some people are very different, some are nearly the same.

5-6 hours is not impossible. In fact, it's very doable. I have met quite a few people who have met their wife/husband very far away. It's starting to happen a lot more than it used to, and I'm really seeing it as a "realistic" possibility.

Apparently, the only way it would end up working is if eventually you two go to the same place (you move there, she moves to where you live, or something else)... but, that DOES happen, and it happens a lot more than you think.

Don't think of your question the way you asked it. Ask yourself, 'do I like this girl?'. Don't be owned by what society says about relationships. Answer the questions yourself, make your own guidelines. Even if everybody here says you can't like someone you've never met, it doesn't mean that YOU can't. They can't answer that question because they are different people, and they all have different reasons for thinking what they think (myself included).

So, at that, what happens if we all say that you can't like someone you've never met? Give up on it... despite the fact that you said that "I don't know why but I like this girl very much"? Haven't you just answered your own question?

    Think about that one.
HAHAHA! Hm, some I know I wouldn't get on with in RL... would be... LT and Laguna. However, LT isn't much of an *cough* since Laguna left, shows how easily influenced kids are muahahaha.

On topic: No, I don't believe you can. However, "If love can bloom on a battlefield", why not the internet?

For now. Visiting helps. It really depends on how committed you are. With the realization that you can't be together physically yet (and not for a while)... it's something to take into consideration.

    hi
i met my ex online 9 years ago, we fell deeply in love without meeting each other, we had an online relationship for 9 months, she then came to live with me and we have been happy together for 8 years, we have now broken up because of circumstances,

so to answer the op question, yes you can fall deeply in love without meeting each other
