I'm wondering if the amount of pressure I feel (which has consequently meant I've had a response from her sitting in my inbox for a few days now) is a signal of incompatibility or just my usual self attaching too much significance into trying to do things perfectly. So here is that last response: "Well whaddaya know. C'est la vie. Life's going pretty well so far. I just moved back home at the beginning of the summer after graduating with my bio degree under my belt. I've still got some figuring out to do as far as how I'm going to spend the next couple of years (and where). I also went on a pretty sweet vacation with a close friend from school recently. How about you?"

I was thinking about describing what I've been up to, making some general comment about the things in her life and then asking if she'd want to meet up for coffee so's I can hear all about it and get to know her. Stupid? Utterly retarded idea?
