I guess I only watched some of his older films, SUH. His first ones are probably much more romantic. I watched the trailer of Say Anything last night and it seemed like a very sweet film indeed. And happy endings are priceless :-)

    1. Music and Lyrics - I like the older Drew Barrymore movies (especially when she was a kid), but this one is one of her better newer ones, in my opinion.

    2. Shall We Dance - Only ever saw the remake, but it's just the way that Gere, Sarandon, and Lopez play their roles (and the soundtrack) that just makes the film. And I thought the ending was incredible.

    3. An Affair to Remember - Come on, you have Cary Grant. Enough said?

    4. Some Kind of Wonderful - One of my all time favorite John Hughes films.

    5. Every Girl Should Be Married - Again, Cary Grant.

    6. Two Weeks Notice - The part with the stapler, not to spoil anything.

    7. While You Were Sleeping - Overall, it was just an awesome movie. Sandra Bullock is awesome in it.
As expected, you've got a long list, Rowen :-) Susan Sarandon is a great favourite of mine and Sandra Bullock is simply great in romantic comedies. I'll add the other ones to my watching list for this summer :-)

Yes, rent it, pcmaster unless you stumble upon it on TV or better yet for free online, I watch lots of movies online... Go for the original one, not the Keira Knightly one, but if you like her as an actress than that would be fine to watch. I don't like her much as an actress, she was good in Atonement tho. I liked the one that had Colin Firth in it.

A great film for boys Over the Top and for everyone else. My cousin loved it and I ended up watching it because of his enthusiasm :-)

l'll also keep your favourites in mind as there are a few I didn't watch, HT :-)

A friend of mine watches Bridget Jones's Diary whenever she wants to be in a good mood :-) I find E.T. has this effect on me whenever it's on television. Love it!

Not into romantic films, does Drive count? he did all he did for love. Forgetting Sarah Marshall was good too, for a romantic comedy.

A Walk To Remember... cried my eyes out at that young love tragedy.

Actually "The Ghost and Mrs. Muir" is a good one. Movie is old (1947) but its about how lady and ghost fell in love with each other.

I'd recommend you Onegin, probably, because it's the least conflictive one and the romance is beautiful and Liv Tyler is simply amazing.

I haven't watched your fav films either. Read the synopsis though and they both sound very interesting, films that I would enjoy watching and I will soon :-)

Yes, Rowen is a great film lover, I wonder which are his favourite love films :-)
that movie is part of the "before" trilogy. before sunrise, before sunset and before midnight.

so you might want to watch all 3 of them, valixy. i prefer the second one, so i only listed it previously, but if you have the time on a weekend you can check out all three.

Apparently they've succeeded to maintain the high level in all three parts which is not very usual. Thx, Exeter :-)
