Kids? Hmmph. SCrew 'em, let them buy their own car.

No, I have a pickup too, Ford Ranger extended cab I use as a "weekend warrior". My ex has the family car, so when I take the kids, I take her car and give her my truck.

I don't know brands of purses; just the couple high end ones.

Yours isn't high end; has to be durable (horses etc.) But probably one of the bigger sizes; like you know how some younger girls are carrying those tiny ones with tiny handles, when they throw them over their shoulder, the purse is up by their armpits?

I wouldn't be surprissed if you had that style of purse that looks like a mini backpack.

    Am I close?

Yes, I wouldn't have thought that.

There are two types of women with horses. Your type, that does a lot of work, and the type that rides in shows and does jumps and things; You know, dress up with tight pants with the patches on the inner thigh, red jacket and "derby" type hat. Rich girls with horse handlers etc.

Yeah....I'm the hard working type (in fact, I spent 5 hours this morning filling a stall with sand...I'm exhausted)...but just because I work hard and I'm not afraid to get dirty, that doesn't mean that I don't like my nice things

It's kinda funny...when people see me at the barn, they wouldn't guess that I'm the "dress up and look nice" type....but when people see me away from my horses, they would NEVER expect that I had horses.....I guess I'm strange

Whoa, you misunderstood me. I'm not saying the hard working type has to look like a "butch lesbian" or something. All girls that ride horses are hot. Period.

I would, however, think that some practicality would come into play and say, "Hey instead of taking my $300 purse to the stalls, I'll buy a purse a little more suited to my lifestyle."

    That is alll.

My purse has never seen the inside of a barn....it's sits in my car.....I guess if I had more to carry into the barn, I'd break out one of my "cheaper" purses from my teenage years to use....but I've had no need to do that yet.....my purse lives in my car (although there's not really a "place" in my car for it.....I swear my car was designed by a man...LOL)
