yeah it's supposed to have all those extra features but it's not a phone... overall if you're gonna buy one, then you're gonna have to be a totally different set of dvd's and games. personally i wouldn't waste my money buying one. i'd much rather just get a portable dvd player, but that's me.

Yea but a portable DVD will cost almost the same and not be able to play games. Most people who dont like the PSP just havent owned it/used it long enough to know how good it is. You cna play some great stuff on it like wipeout pure and twisted metal. I dont even own any movies for it lol..wait..just spiderman 2 which I got with it for free.

It's just a matter of usage. If you're not a person who plays portable games and would rather not buy a completely new set of DVD's to watch them on the PSP then it's probly not for you. If you're someone who would get a lot of use out of watching DVD's and playing games on the go then this would be a good option. However it's definitely not for everyone. I can't think of a situation other than a flight where I would possibly use this so it's not something for me. It's just a preference.
