I'm sorry if I dont understand how I could regret telling someone goodbye and letting them know I will always cherish the 4yrs we had together.

You probably shouldn't listen to me TAVS. I tend to be very private about my most intimate emotions, which is probably not healthy. Ignore my previous post...

Yea I'm an open book. For the record, although I'm writing this down, I intend to read it only. If she asks for it, sure, she can have it, but I dont plan to automatically hand it to her.

I think it's a great idea.....a "script" of sorts....to make sure that you say all the things that you want to say, without forgetting anything. I myself have written "goodbye" letters in the past, only to regret giving them to the person.....but I think as an outline of things you want to say to her, great....but I might not give it to her...keep it for yourself in your "ex box"
Negative Ghost Rider...the pattern is full.

Looks like this is my most recent thread on the topic, so I'll reply here. So it's nearing a week since she left. Took us all of 15 minutes to get the furnature etc out of the house and into her Dad's truck. I decided against reading her the letter for a couple reasons. #1, things were happening so fast, I didnt have time to think plus I didnt know if her dad would walk back in. #2, Jeblina recommended I not break down, I knew reading the letter would lead me to that. Maybe I'll read it to her, or send it down the road. We'll see. I did give her the photo album I put together and a 1-song CD. None of you know the song, but it's of a 'Our time is over, but I'll never forget you' type of song.

I did get a little choked up when she left but I got through it and moved on with my day. Watched about three movies and then went to a party. The rest of the week has been pretty busy. She's crossed my mind from time to time, but I haven't felt sad. I can even listen to sad songs without a lot of reaction. I miss her, sure, but I'm moving on. She write me a very short email Tuesday explaining she was busy, didnt have time to call, but made it home safely. Haven't heard from her since. It bugs be a bit, but not more than a couple seconds. Obviously she's in the honeymoon period of being home so what do I expect right?

So yea, I just wanted everyone to know that things are going well. I'm visiting my Ex, twice removed, this evening. She's moving to Reno next week. We've been friends for the 5 yrs since we broke up. I'll officially have no more Ex girlfriends within driving distance.

Maybe I should drive down, visit dad, stop by and get a photo with you just to piss Tone off.
