Maybe get him something like a watch/ring (nothinf too expensive) and get it etched with a message or something. I did that and it went down really well. It's a very personal gift. Or....i'm trying to think what would be a cool present that incl. the Yankees....i will think of one......

Giulia- I already bought him a watch last year and he doesn't wear anything like that (watch or jewelry)!!! I have already bought him a jersey of his favorite player and he has a load of t-shirts. He also has almost every baseball card of his favorite player that is affordable!!!
I was thinking about making him something or doing something like I did for him valentine's day last year!

SO I got the whole birthday gift done.... i went out and bought him his favorite television show on dvd and then I decided to make him a scrapbook with everything we did together over the last two years!!!

I'm sure that'll go over quite well. Whether or not guys typically act like it, I think most of us really like getting something the person they love put a lot of time into.

ah, welcome to big, bad world of trying to figure out what the hell to get your boyfriend for his birthday. i'm always scrambling lol. it's so HARRRRD not to get him underwear or socks, you know? i got him shoes last time but another birthday will come again soon and i will then be faced with all the choices and worry about whether or not it's perfect omagawwwwwwwwwwwwwwd!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!
