If you hate it so much here, then why do you insist on staying?

I'm saving my children from growing up into you, Mish.

Why not today if this country and people here despise you so much? Clearly there are other countries which are more in line with your views.

Why are you putting yourself and your children through the "torture" of Australian culture, if you are so despised by it? It's rather cruel don't you think?
    Don't cry, don't regret and don't blame

Rural Australians tend not to despise my fair and balanced view on personal integrity and inherit liberties guaranteed to all men, women, and children, Mish.

Why are you putting yourself and your children through the "torture" of Australian culture, if you are so despised by it? It's rather cruel don't you think?
There's nothing wrong with previous versions of Australian culture. Sure, there's always problems and issues to work through, but the culture did so somewhat fairly and with respect.

The latest version leaves a lot to be desired.

Freedom of expression, freedom of action, freedom of debate have all taken a backseat to political correctness and censorship/banning. A growing sector of immigrants have assured the powers that be that they aren't accountable for their actions and that they can do as they please with support from those who are prior accustomed to living under the thumb.

If and when Australia loses it's complete identity and bearings, we're pulling up stakes and seeking refuge elsewhere. Until then, we're hoping to educate the city folk on the merits of living free. The rural folks gave up long ago and stick to their last available refuge... distance from the capital cities.

You should consider joining our cause, Mish.

We believe that we're responsible for the outcome of our actions, not the actions themselves. We believe that we are innocent until proven guilty. We believe that we have a right to live free without the meddling of social scientists, corporates, agents of the State, and overall elitists. We hold these truths to be self evident.

    Live free or die.

So, so you think you can tell Heaven from Hell,
    blue skies from pain.
Can you tell a green field from a cold steel rail?
    A smile from a veil?
Do you think you can tell?
And did they get you to trade your heroes for ghosts?
    Hot ashes for trees?
Hot air for a cool breeze?
    Cold comfort for change?
And did you exchange a walk on part in the war for a lead role in a cage?

Just when you think the Catholic church can't be any more rediculous, they go and say something like this:

That's one hell of a foot to be placing in one's mouth.
"The weakest soul, knowing its own weakness, and believing this truth that strength can only be developed by effort and practice, will, thus believing, at once begin to exert itself, and, adding effort to effort, patience to patience, and strength to strength, will never cease to develop, and will at last grow divinely strong."
