I'm over here doing a ridiculously wasteful amount of "specialty" work because our software is horribly outdated. It means that about 10-20 percent of the stuff I do has to be hand-entered and finagled instead of just point-and-click entered. There's a huge chance of error, so I have to triple check all of it, etc. etc. etc.

We don't have updated software because my boss says we can't afford it.

Meanwhile, her new hot tub just arrived at our office. No, I'm not kidding. We have a warehouse and there's a brand new hot tub sitting in it right now. I guess they can afford THAT.

People who call you 3 times in a row, but never leave a voicemail. THEN when you go to call them back, their phone is dead or off. So, now I'm over here wondering what was so damn important that they needed to phone me 3 times, when they knew I was at work!

My mom wants me to come visit her asap. I'm sick of traveling though, and I need to rest and have good times with my friends. The last 3 days I've been drinking a lot of alcohol (starting around 9-10am when I wake up) and partying pretty hard, so I don't think I'll be doing any traveling until maybe next week. She keeps sending me emails though hinting more reasons why I should come home (free food, laundry, my little sister misses me, satellite tv, we can go fishing) She also keeps telling me how my brother ****ed up her computer and I have to fix that now. She also wants me to swing by and visit my brother in jail/pick him up if he's not sentenced to more time on the 18th (his court date) Don't get me wrong, I'd love to go home and visit again, but I'm all pooped out.

I'm hoping I can at least go on 1-2 dates with these girls I've been chatting to before I go back. I met these two really nice girls and I've been chatting to them simultaneously. If I drive home though, that means that I'll have to postpone things for like 2 weeks.
