Can you blame him? Look at that cute pic in her signature. As if that weren't enough, her comments are smart and insightful. Pretty girls like her shouldn't be smart and insightful. They should be vapid and dull. Otherwise how are us guys supposed to resist foolishly hounding and flirting?

It's Friday. Meaning tonight is our busiest night at work. Meaning I need to be on my game. Meaning I'm not. 'Cause the tides have turned red, and I feel like crap. And the boyfriend's going-away pool party is on Sunday.

I'm going back to bed for a while.

EDIT: Ugh. And one of my old regular customers from B&N keeps messaging me on FB. I made the mistake of giving her my full name. Now whenever I'm online she sends me these cheesy little messages about having a great day, full of hearts and asterisks. As though it makes her text better. Just now she said, "Even though you never really keep in touch, have a great Labor Day!" I'm glad she feels like some sort of saint because she spews her thick sappiness all over everyone within a mile radius.

Today is gonna be rough.
