Um I am pretty sure I caught the cold from my roommate. That girl hasn't even been sick. I even asked. And no, I don't have STDs, just a bacterial infection. It pisses me off, I always catch whatever my roommates get because of their poor hygiene. I can't wait till college is over and I don't have any roommates.

I'm annoyed by the sore throat. That's the one symptom I hate most of all when I am sick. I have a bunch of schoolwork that I have to finish up and I won't be getting any sleep tonight because of that. And then I get to go all the way to Minneapolis for the Muse concert today. Yay. I better instantly feel better by then. I'm also annoyed because my Internet is crapping out pretty bad now. One of my roommates is probably downloading a ****ton of porn or something.

It annoyed me to see my former co-worker Kristen today. She is a very nice person who moved here to work as a scientist for our company a few years ago. Because she was in her late '20s at the time, she was in a panic to settle down and get married and have kids. So she pretty much settled on the first guy she met here, who happened to be a garbage collector who lived in the basements of his parents' house. Even though she was making a decent middle-class wage at our company, she got engaged and moved into the basement with him. She quit to get a degree in nursing, and now, in her last year of nursing school, she is pregnant by her garbage collector husband.

What's annoying is that she is such a nice and smart person but has a very submissive personality, while her husband is a dumb jerk. From what I've heard from co-workers who became friends with her, he takes her for granted and treats her shabbily. He doesn't hit her, but is dismissive and contemptuous of her opinions. But she is 110% committed to staying married. So whenever she stops by our business, she just seems sad and weak. Any normal guy would have been thrilled to marry her, because she is also nice-looking and runs marathons to stay in shape. But she settled for this thug.

In case you're wondering, no, I'm not jealous. I'm not attracted to weak women, I like women who are more assertive and independent. But it just annoys me to see such a nice person clinging to such a jerk.

I'll tell you what's annoying me - one of my roommates is turning into a hypocritical douche bag. One of our mutual friends was staying over for a few nights - I came back from the doctor yesterday, and he told me that my roommate was all bitchy because he had to throw away an empty mcdonalds bag I left on the coffee table for one night. I guess he did this because his gf (first gf evar!) was there and he wanted to look all cool or something. He said something like "God damnit, I always have to clean up after this pig" Which is funny, because he has a pile of dishes that have been sitting in the sink for weeks. He never helps me nor our other roommate clean the apartment, and when we ask him to clean his messes up, he rolls his eyes at us like he's some kind of king and we're his lowly minions. I swear to god, I want to punch him in the face. He's not the neatest ****er in the world, and yet, if I leave a paper bag in the livingroom just one time, so help me god, he has to go out of his precious way and waste 20 seconds of his valuable time, crumpling it up into a ball and shooting it like a basketball in the trash can. It's not like the coffee table was clean anyway, it's covered with all his junk. I guess he doesn't want my trash intermingling with his junk. I like how he claimed that spot in the livingroom, even though it's my couch and our mutual roommate's coffee table.

I can completely relate to this. Time and time again I see my friends in relationships with people that are just disgusting and horrible. I wouldn't care if that garbage man worked hard and treated her good, but the fact that he's a jerk makes you wonder if the saying, "Nice guys finish last" is true.

Definitely sure what I have is a bacterial infection - there is yellow discharge coming out of my eyes, which are really irritated and sometimes feels like I have something in my eye, it seems to be a case of hyper pinkeye. My vision is also slightly blurry. I also just coughed so hard (trying to clear the mucus out of my throat) and I actually vomited a little. I'm so pissed my doc didn't give my antibiotics yesterday - I don't see what the risk is; the last time I had antibiotics was more than 5 years ago.

I went to the dentist. He stuck a needle in my gum and hit a nerve. My right eyeball felt like it exploded. Moisture gushed out of it. I did not cry. There were no tears. Just a torrent of liquid that I had no control over. I hate dentists.
