False. I did travel to Italy once, but I don't necessarily remember getting shots specifically because of it. Then again, I don't mind and, in fact, actually enjoy getting shots. So, it wouldn't necessarily stick in my memory.... no pun intended. LOL!

....Huh? Do you mean, like, you've played video games? Because, no, just any plain old video game does not count as "virtual reality." Virtual reality is a very specific thing/idea. Basically, the idea being it is a game/video/experience/etc. where it is able to look to you like you are actually in this virtual world. In other words, not just you are looking at a tv screen playing a video game, but that you actually appear to be IN this other world.

You used to see it all the time in movies that took place in the future. You know how they guess all the crazy stuff they think we'd have by XYZ year like flying cars and all that. Well, virtual reality was one you'd often see, with people wearing these big head sets and they were playing a video game where they were in a virtual world and could look around at all angles.

Recently, that has actually become a thing. Can't believe I actually got to see this happen in my own lifetime. I now own the Oculus Rift and have been obsessed with it since I got it this past weekend.

Anyways, back to the point....

False.... and I actually have an interesting story about that.

When I got my latest phone, I also got an accessory pack with it. It included this clear tempered glass cover that goes over the screen.

I keep my phone in my shirt pocket. Well, getting off the train to head to work one day, it slips out of my pocket and falls..... down into the area below the tracks. Had to be a pretty far drop. They were able to retrieve my phone for me and it had a few cracks. Very small, not too big a deal. But knowing I should maybe replace the tempered glass protector now, I go ahead and peal that off..... and it turns out the cracks were in the cover, NOT the screen of my phone. My screen was 100% unharmed. WOW! Ever since, I always have one of those protectors on my phone.

That's awesome that your protector did what it was supposed to do and protected your phone from damage, that is rare I think and you were very smart to get that cover as well.

That's sort of more along the lines, yes. That's still much more advanced than it currently is today, but you are close to the right idea, To give you a better idea, the Oculus Rift I am talking about is a headset. It covers your eyes so you can't see anything around you. Then, you can play games, watch videos, or play through what they call "experiences" within the headset. You have a 360 degree view, meaning you can look anywhere and there will be something there. You can look above you, behind you, etc. Plus, most everything is in 3D, so it makes it look like you are actually there.

There are still ways the idea can improve over time, but it is already amazing as it is.

And, once again getting back on track.....

True. I actually like my glasses. They are part of my look. I've considered going to contacts, but I honestly like how I look with my glasses.

The person below me has trained in MMA, karatee, ju jitsu, or some other form of self defense/combat type of discipline (whether they did it just for fun/protection, or to actually compete).

I took some self defense courses in College because of campus predators and was suggested to me to involve myself in those classes but I never continued on in any other training.
