not sure yet....she doesn't like pork, so that's off the table. Was thinking a nice shrimp cocktail for starters, main dish is yet to be decided, and tiramisu as dessert.....if anybody has some wicked ideas for the main dish, by all means share them

If I were cooking for a date, I'd do something like manicotti, so all the work would be done before the date. It requires no finishing beyond throwing some parsley on top, so all of your attention is on her.

ye, the screwing up part has me worried as well hahaha. I know my way around a kitchen, so I think I'll pull it off. As a backup I'll bring some dry bread. How's that for romance . Ow btw Giga.....I'd take one flight later, date starts @ 7, so dinner is probably served at about 8

The gameplan pretty much consists of me being all charming and flirty, but that's it. She knows how I feel, so I'll only make a move if she initiates it or obviously leaves an opening for me (no pun intended). I'm too worried I'd wreck our friendship if I came on too strong or initiated something without her consent or invitation. Sounds like a gameplan? Or should I be more aggressive?

I'd be both aggressive and conservative.. yes the ball is in her court - but I'd make sure she doesn't forget for one second how I feel... so I'd be aggressive to a point - but without crossing the line.. because I'm good like that.
