Def cheating. If you're doing something when your gf isn't around that you wouldn't do if she were around, then you shouldn't be doing it. It's an integrity issue. And I agree you should tell her before she hears it from someone else, which she will. If you hope to save it, you have a better chance coming clean, though no guarantee.
