I think it also has to do with what kind of crowd kids hang out with and where they're getting their peer pressure from. A good dad I reckon whould point out flaws in the friends in front of the whole group and challenge them on these flaws openly.

Also, when my sister started skipping class to hang out with this group of retards that would smoke pot at the community centre, my Dad would take time off work to go down there, find my sister, humiliate her by dragging her out of there in front of all of her friends, and then tell all of her friends that if they didn't get their ass back to class he was going to tell the principal where they were and what they were up to.

My sister hated his guts for that. She stopped smoking pot though.

That's so insensitive of your dad, but I like it

Insensitive, but effective. If you knew my sister, you would know that dramatic measures were required, always.

Holy crap I watch it like every day. I quote from it all the time, which is why I found your quote so amusing.

I''l just say this: the more I read on the newspapers, the more I want to buy a cottage in the middle of the Amazon rainforest and move there.

    Enough said.

Nah you don't want to move there...it's full of New Zealanders..and sheep!

Seriously though New Zealand is beautiful...especially the South Island.
