The question is skewed towards the choice of the broke dude "you couldn't live without". The question is also unrealistic.

It depends on why the broke guy is broke and if it's temporary or permanent. If he's broke through his own fault and is irresponsible etc I'd find it really hard to imagine a future. If he was broke but showed promise and willingness, I'd give it a go.

People usually don't have the choice of the two extremes the question posed, it isn't so black and white.

Kinda broke how? Self-sustaining at the very least? Yeah sure it doesn't matter. As long as we're not both broke. I'd have to say though that I wouldn't be attracted to someone with such little ambition and ability that they'd be at that point though (unless it were due to circumstances out of their control, which probably isn't what you meant anyway).

I'd actually stay away from someone who's filthy rich. Prefer to be with someone who's my equal.

Guys they are just hypothetical questions. You have no other choice and the choices listed may not make much sense but you can only choose from those two.

It's not a questionnaire for research purposes. I wanted to question the choices too but that's not needed here. It's for fun talk.

EDIT: Example: would you rather be dead or alive? I am sure most of you would say it depends on the condition of the live state, etc. But that is not a choice here.
