haha sake... that's more of a sitting down drink when you're at a sushi bar. you want to drink something, but something that isn't strong enough to let you puke up all the delicious food that you just ate. as for me, i sometimes go with the shochu (japanese vodka). yup, i had that last night and although it's a bit weaker than your regular vodka, it keeps me up longer to enjoy the party.

Oh god. We got a bottle of shochu from Japan (I think it was potato) and it was *nasty*. F-ing horse liniment, I dunno how they drink it. I can only guess at some point that stuff is responsible for all the bad karaoke.

I actually brought out our bottle of isopropyl alcohol (rubbing alcohol) and smelled them for comparison. I was certain we would go blind drinking that stuff.

And no, it wasn't a cheap bottle. Just awful.
