Hard to believe everyone here hates racism; either this is the most politically correct forum ever, or y'all are lying!

I, personally, am not racist; I hate all minorities equally.

My brother's wife is Japanese, and I hate all people equally who are stupid, whatever color they are. Probably all the racist bigots are hanging out on the KKK websites...

well, not much.. he's on antibiotics on, well, not yet. He will be. Because he's allergic to pennicillin, we had a really hard time trying to get a hold of this special antibiotics.

Well, we are all frustrated and we must express ourselves, someone just has to be the victim. If it is not racism, then it is something else, you definately find a thing to hate.

The most disgusting thing I've come to see about racist generalizations and assumptions is how often they ring true, regardless of which race it is.

I'm not so sure how "true" they are over time. Currently, there is a misconception that Muslims are terrorists. Naturally, that is not true for the vast majority of Muslims. Another example: I live in Los Angeles, which has a large Hispanic population. The stereotype is that they are dirty, lazy and lack Western sophistication. The same thing was said about Irish immigrants during the height of their immigration, and about the Eastern Europeans at the height of theirs. I think it takes time for these populations of immigrants to integrate themselves into American society, and in the meantime, they are easy targets.

I suppose the problem lies in the stereotypes themselves. I have never heard that hispanics are lazy, dirty or lack western sophistication. The impression I've gotten from most people in my area is their insanely large libido and a an inability to control it. As for muslims I have heard that stereotype yet it's always something I've ignored simply because it'd take a real fool to actually believe something so silly. I guess I was referring to something a little different. I'll leave this thread alone.
