Well, now that the Colts squeeked by the Steelers, I hope they go undefeated. for no other reason than to shut the trap of those arrogant SOB's who call themselves the "'72 Dolphins". Fvck them.

WOW, i know how much you like the steelers, and it is good to read your post above, you must be a good sport.

for some reason, i also hope the colts go unbeaten, i enjoy seeing history made, in MY lifetime

Well, I'm guessing the Dolphins also went unbeaten in 72, but i researched that they didn't win the superbowl that year (is that true), they lost to my third favourite (lol) team, 49ers!

they went undefeated in the regular season, 14-0. There were only 14 games then. And yes, they went on to win the Super Bowl.

didn't dan marino play for the dolphins?

when i was not in the US, the only FAMOUS teams i remember where:

    dallas cowboys
    washington redskins
    san fransisco 49ers
    miami dolphins
    green bay packers

Were these the BEST football teams back in the day? Am i missing any? And if so, which ones are STILL good today?

Yes, poor Dan, never did win the big one.

Those you listed are probably the best, most consistantly winning teams in history, just don't forget to put the 70's Steelers team in there too.

Still good today: Dallas, this season. Washington started the season out strong but have kinda fluttered out. The other teams are pretty bad this year, minus the Steelers, of course.

It's funny how Colts are picked every year, yet when it's real pressure time, they go down. Too bad Leftwich went down, Tone, i missed that part...McNair can make things happen for the Titans, that's for sure so maybe it'll be one of those close ones next week. They won't be able to stop James, Wayne, Harrison, but if they can at least keep them in check and keep scoring, which they've done pretty well so far, who knows.

Yeah, the difference though is this year they have a decent defense. They've always had a great offense, this year though they started with a FANTASTIC defense, they sure looked impressive last night, only giving up 7 points to the Steelers and that was after they had a short field to work with from the Manning INT.

McNair is awesome, too bad he's about the only guy on that team that can make things happen. Chris Brown is a pretty solid RB, and they have a decent O Line, but their defense is just too young, too inexperienced.

Another big thing for the Colts is they more than likely will have home field advantage throughout the playoffs, unless Denver wins out the remaining 5 and the Colts lose 3 of the 5 - so that will make them incredibly difficult to knock out, having to play them in the RCA Dome.

I'm so proud of myself I'm actually picking up on all this football stuff.. LOL

Hey Tone I like LT but I can't help like Alexander a little bit better. Maybe just his personality, I don't know.

I have to say the Colts looked awesome last night. I was in shock with the first play of the game, With that play I won my fantasy game last night.... woo hoo!
