Damn! It doesn't happen that often though, does it? I heard it mostly rains there..If it's not that cold, that's all that matters.

Yeah, mostly rain, but I find that the damp feels colder than the more "dry" cold back East. Clear, sunny, snowy days are unheard of here. It would be quite intolerable, except the winters end sometime in early Feb. Our solution has been to take off for a month or so someplace warm in the thick of it.

You said East, where Asip? Montreal or Toronto area? I've family there; it gets quite cold.
