so i realized why i love my acoustic guitar so much... it's because the wood remembers sounds, and the more you play it the better it sounds.

hey M, most guitars will sound fantastic after 10 years ... or even more!

I seen a 1963 Hofner violin bass being sold at guitar center for like $40k .... the Paul McCartney bass ...

well, amazon says $150, others say $160, and some say $130. The prices were listed at different times. So a new one would be around $150.

Either way, it's a crazy price ... But I'm sure it sounds lovely...

Jimmy, you don't have to go all out for your first guitar. Yamaha, Martin, Ibanez, Fender, and Takamine are all fine in my book. But it really depends on you.

I prefer acoustics with a cutaway design which allows you to get to the higher frets ... like this one:

They may be more expensive ... I don't know ... I got mine used.

Nope, new guitar. I went to the guitar shop today, and even tried out the F310. Pretty good guitar for that price.

lol, i finally bought a guitar though. Bayou BA10 acoustic. You probably haven't heard of the brand cause it only manufactures and sells in a shop at vancouver. Solid wood thats been aged for 2 years, hand made, and a good and loud sound. $250+case+electronic tuner. They sold it for less than half price of the original cause they just moved to this new shop and sold things really cheap for a while to gain popularity. I really like the guitar, but my fingers are hurting after playing for 5 min.

your fingers are going to get beat up.

they're going to blister and it's going to be painful and gross.

it's kind of a guitar players rank in.

Are you kidding me? I thought guitar players only get thicker skin at the fingertips. Dam. And I don't get all those chords. This is like the hardest instrument I ever played.
