    Anyway, ever volunteer with an organization like Habitat for Humanity? It's a good way to do something productive and can make you feel all warm inside.

    Lack of confidence generally means that you don't trust yourself and your abilities. You need to rebuild your trust in you. Look at it from the point of view of, how could a person you didn't know win your trust if they wanted to? Now become that person and win trust in yourself.
